Pokemon: Twilight Wings Episode 2 is now live and delivers another slice of heartwarming and wholesome content. In this episode titled "Training," Bea--the fighting type Stow-on-Side gym leader from Pokemon Sword--gets the spotlight.Bea previously appeared in the first episode as a challenger to Leon. In this new episode, after her loss, Bea embarks on a training quest in the wild, bizarrely including physical combat with her Machamp as part of the regiment. The gym leader and her Pokemon end up trapped in a cave, and while there, her Machop, Machamp, and Machoke support her. One gives her a chocolate bar and all three of them save Bea from a crumbling exit.Twilight Wings is a seven-episode web series focused on the residents of the Galar region. Episodes are released monthly. If the first two episodes are anything to go by, it looks like each episode will focus on a single character. Here's to hoping that the incredibly cute Wooloo who made a cameo in the final minutes of the episode will get more screen time in future episodes.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The great thing about being a PC gamer is that you don't have to worry about new hardware making your current machine obsolete, unlike consoles which are eventually replaced entirely by new ones. On the PC, you'll still be able to play the same games everyone else is, even when new graphics cards or processors are released--though you may have to sacrifice higher settings for an enjoyable experience. Thankfully, there are plenty of deals out there for PC gaming hardware and accessories.Of course, in addition to the internal components like graphics cards, processors, and RAM, there are a ton of PC accessories that get discounted all the time: keyboards, mice, headsets, and much more. Even though you can grab some of these products at a steal, they'll still last you a long time--and new hardware won't make them obsolete. One thing the PC has on consoles is the sheer number of game sales happening at any given time. Steam, the Epic Games Store, Green Man Gaming, Fanatical, GOG, and many more retailers are always offering deals on PC games, making it incredibly easy to never pay full price for any game you want.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

VR headsets could get a major boost when Valve releases the VR-only Half-Life: Alyx this March. VR has slowly built up an impressive library of games like Beat Saber and Boneworks, with more games like Phantom: Covert Ops and Marvel's Iron Man VR on the way. At this point, you might be tempted to finally pick up a headset, which is why we've rounded up the best deals we can find on them, noting if there is compatibility with Half-Life: Alyx.Unfortunately, the number of VR deals at the moment is a little low. Oculus's Quest promotion, which bundled the all-in-one headset with Vader Immortal, is over. Thankfully, the Half-Life: Alyx-compatible Samsung HMD Odyssey+ is still discounted, and if you're interested in PlayStation VR, the great five-game mega pack is still available at Amazon with free shipping. You can see all of the best VR deals below. We know there's interest in Half-Life: Alyx, so we've made a note of pointing out which ones will be ready to go for its March release date.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

A new event is now underway in Pokemon Go. Ahead of this weekend's Community Day, Niantic has kicked off a surprise event that revolves around fossil Pokemon. For a limited time, 7 km eggs will exclusively hatch into fossil Pokemon such as Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, and Archen. The Nintendo Switch console is one of the most versatile gaming systems ever made. It's a portable console you can hook up to your TV. Switch games aren't always state-of-the-art techwise, but they look great on a TV most of the time, and with the Switch Pro controller, they play just like they would on any other console when the console is hooked up to the Switch dock (which includes a pair of front-facing USB to hook up a wide variety of controllers). Playing games on the Switch console itself on the go, the screen looks great, and feels like a large, flat controller that isn't too heavy. The Switch Lite is even easier on the hands, with a proper controller d-pad (though you might want to invest in a screen protector, just in case). You can even mix things up, using the included stand to play it while it's lying on a table, and use a Pro controller without a cable to play. The problem is that it's not always the best portable gaming experience; the battery life on the original model is bad enough that you're charging it all the time (Nintendo has since released a version of the console with improved batter life), and with all the motion controls, small buttons, and lack of a real rubber grips (or any grip, really) on the Joy-Cons, it's often not comfortable, especially during longer sessions of input-heavy games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Even the Switch Lite, which sports a smaller form factor and stronger battery, tends to benefit from having a Pro controller around sometimes, especially if you want to play mutliplayer games on it.However, there is a solution to that tingling hands problem that makes the original Switch model more comfortable to play in handheld mode (besides just using a Switch Pro controller): a Nintendo Switch grip case. These work much in the same way as protective cases do, except they add a little something to grab onto without forcing you away from the screen, turning them into something that offers a lot more grip, like an Xbox controller. Handheld mode is my preferred method of playing the Switch, and after using a grip case, I knew I could never go back to playing without one.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

E3 2020 is undergoing some changes this year, but one thing is staying the same. Devolver, the boutique games publisher behind quirky and irreverent titles like Genital Jousting and Hotline Miami, has confirmed that it will return to E3 this year, at least in its own way.Devolver is known to unofficially attend E3 by hosting events of its own outside of the convention hall and without the official support of the show. This has led to some level of controversy between Devolver and the Entertainment Software Association, which is the group that organizes E3.In addition to this, Devolver is known for its completely absurd "Big Fancy Press Conferences," which are pre-taped and have recently featured the actress Mahria Zook in a role where she pretends to be a video game executive and goes about mocking various industry trends and topics.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
