Netflix has finally added Hunter x Hunter's fourth season, aka the Greed Island Arc, for viewers in the States. 17-episodes long, the season can be watched in dub or sub. If you're outside of the US, you most likely already have the Greed Island arc on Netflix. The streaming service has executed a different rollout of Hunter x Hunter seasons for different regions. Some countries, including the US, only received seasons one to three, while other countries got more episodes.Hey fight show fans, we just added Hunter x Hunter season four and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders! Gon and Killua take a trip to Greed Island, while the family Joestar continues its struggle against the immortal DIO. pic.twitter.com/HgST9VviOu — NX (@NXOnNetflix) February 29, 2020The Greed Island Arc follows Gon and Killua as they get transported into a game no one has cleared before. They do it for the challenge (and the cheque, provided by a billionaire), but what transpires has a significant impact on Gon's overall journey. Along the way, the duo finds a mentor, Biscuit--a middle-aged woman who masquerades as a young girl--and at one point, actually have to team up with Hisoka, an antagonist of sorts. While the infamous clown is present, two of the four main characters we started out with--Leorio and Kurapika--are almost entirely absent.Beyond the Greed Island arc, Netflix still needs to add the Chimera Ant arc and the Election arc as well. And for those fans who have watched both and are wondering if there will be a new anime season in the near future, it's looking unlikely. Yoshihiro Togashi, author of the manga, hasn't released a new Hunter x Hunter chapter in over a year, making it hard for the anime to continue, given that there's no material to adapt. A silver lining is that Togashi does want to finish and commented in an interview translated by VeraciousCake, "It has come to a point where either the story concludes first, or I die before that happens (lol). But I do intend to finish it."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Mark Wahlberg has been cast as Sully. The story of the movie doesn't follow any of the games, and this is one of the reasons why it might not be terrible, according to Holland.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

As Bungie gears up for Season 10 of Destiny 2, which kicks off on March 10 with the return of the Trials of Osiris, the studio is aiming to make the looter-shooter's rewards more transparent. When Season 10 goes live next Tuesday, you will no longer be able to buy Bright Engrams from the in-game Eververse Store.Director Luke Smith shared a lengthy Director's Cut blog post discussing the state of Destiny 2, detailing the lessons learned and the hope held for the future of the looter-shooter. In both looking forward and backward, Smith said Destiny 2's randomized loot boxes (Bright Engrams) no longer reflect Bungie's values and vision."For Season 10, we're doing away with Bright Engrams as purchasable items. We want players to know what something costs before they buy it," Smith wrote. "Bright Engrams don't live up to that principle so we will no longer be selling them on the Eververse Store, though they will still appear on the Free Track of the Season Pass."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Uncharted movie is finally happening. For real this time. Mark Wahlberg, who is playing Sully, has now spoken more about the movie, revealing when it starts shooting and what viewers can expect. He told Collider that filming is scheduled to begin in "about two weeks time," so sometime in March. This matches up with what Nathan Drake actor Tom Holland already said. Regarding the story, Walhberg said it's "more of an origin story" that will focus on the first time Drake and Sully met. They eventually overcome their differences and become friends, according to the actor. Wahlberg also compared the Uncharted movie to Indiana Jones, which makes a lot of sense given both stories are about an archaeologist-adventurer who travels the world, destroying precious historical sites and killing people.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

No Time to Die is set to have its world premiere on March 31 in London and a theatrical release in the US on April 10. If you're antsy to secure a seat for Daniel Craig's final performance as James Bond, tickets are now officially on sale. However, a group of fans has called for the release of No Time to Die to be pushed back to summer, citing coronavirus concerns. The letter is authored by some of the most popular fansites and blogs, including James Page, the co-founder of the MI6 website, and David Leigh, the founder of the James Bond Dossier. It states, "With the Coronavirus reaching pandemic status, it is time to put public health above marketing release schedules and the cost of canceling publicity events."The letter nodded to the cancellation of the film's publicity tours in countries where the coronavirus has hit the hardest, such as China, South Korea, and Japan, stating, "These are sensible actions that should be applauded."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

E3 2020 is scheduled to happen from June 9 through June 11, but as numerous worldwide events are cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19 (aka coronavirus) outbreak, it would be reasonable to question whether organizers were wavering. In the wake of GDC being postponed, E3's organizers have stated that they still plan on having the event in June. The news comes from Vice's Patrick Klepek, who received a statement from the ESA and shared it via Twitter. The statement confirms that the company is "watching the situation very closely", and makes it clear that things could change, but for now, it is "moving ahead full speed with E3 2020 planning."Here’s what the organizers of E3 told me about the GDC cancellation, and whether it will impact E3. No changes right now. pic.twitter.com/etwWpIivkb — Patrick Klepek (@patrickklepek) February 29, 2020Exhibits and ticket sales have continued unabated, and it's not possible to know whether the outbreak will be contained--or what state things will be in--by June.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Respawn has already given players a chance to play on Apex Legends' original map, Kings Canyon, a few times in Season 4: Assimilation. Both times, however, the map has returned as one of the older versions of Kings Canyon. Going forward, you'll play on the Kings Canyon you remember from the final days of Season 2: Battle Charge.Kings Canyon will first return in the System Override Collection event, during the second week of the limited-time Deja Loot mode. "This will be the Season 2 version of Kings Canyon," Respawn design director Jason McCord said on Apex Devstream #4. "[The version] with the leviathans in it and all the town takeovers--the last version of the map that [players] played live."Halfway through Season 4: Assimilation, the ranked playlist will transition from World's Edge to Kings Canyon. However, the legends won't be playing on a new Kings Canyon. During the devstream, Respawn community manager Jay Frechette said that, like in System Override, the Kings Canyon that returns at the ranked playlist split is still the version of the map from Season 2: Battle Charge. So don't expect a brand-new version of Apex Legends' original map.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Alongside the addition of Octane's heirloom and the start of System Override (which sees the return of Kings Canyon), Respawn is implementing a new update into Apex Legends. The full patch notes for the update reveals several in-game changes, including one that aims to make Wattson less of a must-have for a squad's success.Currently, a full stack of two grenades takes up a single slot in a player's inventory--allowing them to, for example, hold six grenades at the cost of only three slots. Once you have a big enough backpack, this makes it very easy to stockpile grenades, which your squad can then use to bombard an opponent from afar. This tactic is devastating in the final circles of a match (especially if you throw in Bangalore's Rolling Thunder, Cautic's Nox Gas Grenade, or Gibraltar's Defensive Bombardment), where it's more difficult for an enemy squad to find space to retreat and reposition themselves. So, of course, more and more people have started using it.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Respawn is trying to get people to play with Apex Legends character Bloodhound as the technological tracker is designed. Update 4.1, which launches alongside the System Override Collection event, contains several character patches--including several aimed at making Bloodhound more of a recon character. The role of the recon character in Apex Legends has always been a little nebulous--why, for example, was Pathfinder a support character at launch when his passive ability is literally a form of reconnaissance? Respawn is seemingly attempting to better define the role going forward. Pathfinder is now a recon character, for instance, and the terrifyingly aggressive Bloodhound is being adjusted to be less of an attacker and more of a hunter. In Update 4.1, the range of Bloodhound's tactical ability, Eye of the Allfather, will be increased by three times. Whereas before, Eye of the Allfather was good for seeing an enemy hiding in one building, now it's range can encompass several structures. The scan lasts a whole second longer too, making it easier to catch enemy squads with the ability.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The first game I played in Dreams was a cute Captain Toad-inspired puzzle platformer called Pip Gemwalker. It's about a Sloth who has to collect hidden gems across seven increasingly-complex levels. The second game I played was Blade Gunner, a Resogun-style twin-stick shooter with upgrades, an in-game store, and online leaderboards. After that I hopped into Art Therapy, a first-person game where your goal, as a disgruntled artist wielding a baseball bat, is to smash your way through a museum without any of the guards catching you in the act. The fourth was Shadows Dance at Olivetop Reach, a fantasy RPG with turn-based combat and an XP-based levelling system. Each of these games is vastly different from the last, not just in terms of genre and gameplay mechanics, but their use (or disuse) of cutscenes, voice acting, art style, music, narrative, and so on. The one thing they each have in common is that they were all created using the exact same set of tools. That's Dreams in a nutshell: a platform where you can create pretty much anything you can put your mind to. Developer Media Molecule has continued the mantra of "play, create, share" that it used to define the LittleBigPlanet series and applied it to a much more ambitious concept with a significantly broader scope. Metaphorically speaking, if LittleBigPlanet is a single country, then Dreams is the entire universe. There's just so much promise and potential for the burgeoning Dreams community to create some innovative and inspired art, all by using an intuitive toolset that's made accessible via a streamlined creation suite and the use of informative hands-on tutorials. Whether these creations take the form of an hour-long video game, a short film, a simple visual spectacle, or something as simple as a sound effect that another player can use in their own project. The possibilities are endless, which I know is a tired cliché, but in Dreams--more than anywhere else--it actually applies. There are two parts to Dreams which both branch out like roots from a tree. DreamShaping is where you can begin creating your own projects and find myriad tutorials that will teach you how. DreamSurfing, meanwhile, lets you find other people's creations and play them for yourself. It's also where you'll find Media Molecule's own creations, including Art's Dream. If you want to construct a level in LittleBigPlanet, you are always confined to the base template of a side-scrolling 3D platformer. Inevitably, some people found inventive ways to circumnavigate this template, but compared to what you can do in Dreams it's overly restrictive. To demonstrate the monumental shift between LittleBigPlanet and Dreams, Media Molecule has created a showcase of sorts, placing Art's Dream front and centre when you jump into DreamSurfing for the first time.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

After finishing up his Star Wars theatrical career, Harrison Ford starred in this year's dog movie The Call of the Wild, and it's proving to be a box office disappointment.Variety reports that the movie, which is adapted from the Jack London novel, is expected to lose $50 million due to one major factor in particular. The site reports that the movie's extended use of CGI brought the movie's production budget beyond $125 million. This is before marketing expenses are factored in.According to the report, The Call of the Wild will need to make between $250 million and $275 million globally to break even. The film has currently made just $79.8 million globally after two weeks in theatres. This includes $46 million from North America and $33.8 million from international markets.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Have you ever seen an old cartoon where a fight breaks out and the brawlers turn into a cloud of punches that flips tables and breaks everything it touches? Bloodroots, a breakneck action-puzzle game from Quebec developer Paper Cult, lives inside that cloud. A short, speedy tale of mayhem and revenge, Bloodroots dares you stab, bludgeon, squash, and otherwise murder dozens of thugs with the ruthless efficiency of the Wild West’s greatest outlaw and the zany gusto of Bugs Bunny trolling Yosemite Sam. Whether you do this for the sake of its well-written story and/or the thrill of a score chase, Bloodroots can be stylish, graceful (once you know what you’re doing), and surprisingly easy to pick up despite demanding a tremendous attention to detail. In its pre-release state, however, its most elating moments are easily and frequently disrupted by technical issues, keeping you from really hitting your stride as often as you should.Bloodroots puts you on the warpath with the Wild West outlaw Mr. Wolf, who’s out for revenge against his gang, the Blood Beasts. The Beasts, who all wear animal skins and go by Reservoir Dogs-style code names like Mr. Boar and Mrs. Crow, betray and nearly kill him after murdering an entire town in the name of their new leader, Mr. Black Wolf. From the moment he recovers from his attempted assassination, Mr. Wolf has one goal: to kill his former gang and anyone who gets between them. The story, though simple and predictable, is made compelling through strong dialogue that forges complex characters. Though Mr. Wolf rarely speaks, you learn a lot about him; his story and the history of the gang are told in carefully constructed interactive flashbacks and through his encounters with the Beasts. You don’t spend too much story time with any one character--this is an action game and the gameplay comes first--but in tracking down each former partner, you come to understand and savor your time with them. Everyone, and I mean everyone, in Bloodroots is a bad guy, but you come to see that every character has their own perspective on how the gang rose and fell. In hearing about Mr. Wolf’s past from the Beasts, in their own unique voices, you not only understand the situation better, but come to understand that there’s more in their lives than a single act of vengeance. That isn’t to say you won’t have reservations about your mission--they’re bad guys through and through--but you understand why they made their choices, which makes your hunt more satisfying.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

One of the industries impacted by the new virus COVID-19 is the film industry, which is expected to suffer massive losses as would-be moviegoers stay home instead of going to the cinema.According to The Hollywood Reporter, the global box office will take a $5 billion hit due to the global virus.
