Once you pick them up, they will immediately be saved. Thus, there is no need to reach the next checkpoint. 1. Prisoner's Oath Stone (Chapter 2: The Sewers): After exiting the sewers, climb a wall, and pull the lever. Three Goat Warriors will then attack you. The artifact is behind the gate where the Goat Warriors came from. 2. Circe's Vial (Chapter 5: The Village Of Kirra): After defeating the two Elephant Warriors (Juggernauts), go right, and then left. Jump onto the moveable cage, then jump onto the balcony. The artifact is inside the small interior. 3. Oracle Seeker's Offering (Chapter 9: Ice Caverns): After returning with the third snake, there will be a short cutscene showing how a tower gets activated. Go into the tower, and instead of going up, go down as far as possible to find the artifact. 4. Aletheia's Charm (Chapter 11: Delphi Catacombs): After jumping off the large swinging pendulum and onto the hour glass, there will be a throne ahead. The artifact is on the ground, just to the right of the throne. You will automatically run into it. 5. Boat Captain's Idol (Chapter 15: The Grotto): After defeating the two Ice Warriors, you will need to destroy two metal chains to open a door. Behind the door is water. Dive into the water, and follow the underwater path. Eventually, there will be a split in the path leading down. Go down to find the artifact on the ground. 6. Orko's Cloak (Chapter 16: Prison Of The Damned): Once you are in control of Kratos after the cuscene with the cloaked flying woman, turn around. There is a blue and a green orb chest. To the right of the two chests and locked door, in a hidden corner, is the artifact. It is before fighting the green insect woman. 7. Stonemason's Chisel (Chapter 21: The Forearm Of Apollo): After using the Oath Stone of Orkos to get up the elevator, go to the right to find the artifact in a hidden alcove. 8. Archimedes' Treatise (Chapter 23: The Furnace): The artifact is on a table, next to the corpse of Archimedes and a red and a green orb chest. This is after crossing over to the other side with the platform. 9. Statue Worker's Idol (Chapter 25: The Furnace): After finishing the long elevator ride and pulling back the lever to open the shutter revealing a bright light, look in the top left corner of the platform to find the artifact. 10. Antikythera Mechanism (Chapter 28: Trial Of Archimedes): After completing the Trial Of Archimedes, you will go back through a blue portal, and then a platform will automatically bring you to a lower level. After the elevator stops, go up the stairs and to the right to find the final artifact. Decayed chest locations Search the indicated locations to find all seven decayed chests. Find all seven decayed chests to get the "If It Ain't Broke..." trophy. To reconstruct the decayed chests, you need the Amulet Of Uroborus, which is automatically acquired at the beginning of Chapter 13: Passage Of Delphi. Stand in front of the chests, and press L2 + Square to reconstruct them. There is no need to loot the chests. If you die or restart checkpoints, you will have to do it again. Note: You cannot get the trophy doing this through chapter select. If you miss one of the chests, you must play Chapter 13 through Chapter 19 again to reconstruct all seven decayed chests in order. 1. Chapter 13 - Passage Of Delphi: After Kratos repairs the destroyed bridge, the camera will focus on a wounded Oracle. Go across the bridge, and follow the twisting path left instead of continuing right. The decayed chest is at the very end of the constructed pathway. 2. Chapter 14 – The Cistern: Immediately after the chapter begins, you will jump down to a room with a large bull statue. When leaving this room, you will run straight into the decayed chest. 3. Chapter 14 - The Cistern: It is in the same corridor the last decayed chest was found in. Keep going down the corridor, turn right, then turn left to find an alcove with the decayed chest. 4. Chapter 14 - The Cistern: After reconstructing the last decayed chest, you will need to exit the corridor and go outside. Kill all enemies. Then, instead of going left to repair the bridge, go to the far right. You will not see this decayed chest until you are standing in front of it because of the fixed camera angles. 5. Chapter 14 – The Cistern: From the last decayed chest, go left, but do not repair the bridge yet. Drop down to the ruins, go forward, then continue to the far right. At the very end of the ruins is the decayed chest on the ledge, next to a wooden swing bridge. 6. Chapter 16 – Prison Of The Damned: Shortly after you see the head of the dead Titan Hecatonchires (the Boss you killed at the beginning of the game), you will enter the prison area. Go right instead of left to run straight into the decayed chest. 7. Chapter 19 - The Foot Of Apollo: Immediately after climbing up the wall at the beginning of Chapter 19, go to the right to find the final decayed chest. Gorgon Eye locations Search the indicated locations to find all 20 Gorgon Eyes. Finding all Gorgon Eyes will max out your health, and you will get "The Eyes Have It" trophy. Each time you collect five Gorgon Eyes, your health will increase. The Gorgon Eyes are in white treasure chests. However, there are more chests with Gorgon Eyes than needed. Thus, you can miss some of them and still earn the trophy. After collecting all 20 Gorgon Eyes, you will be rewarded with red orbs every time you open a white chest. Phoenix Feather locations Search the indicated locations to find all 15 Phoenix Feather. Finding all Phoenix Feathers will max out your magic, and you will get the "Light As A Feather" trophy. Each time you collect five Phoenix Feathers, your magic will increase. The Phoenix Feathers are in white treasure chests. However, there are more chests with Phoenix Feathers than needed. Thus, you can miss some of them and still earn the trophy. After collecting all 15 Phoenix Feathers, you will be rewarded with red orbs every time you open a white chest. Secret messages Progress through Chapter 14: The Cistern until reaching a hallway with symbols on the floor. Go down the right hallway, then turn right twice to reach a side room with a large painting featuring Olympus. Press R1 to interact with it to see the following cryptic message: Of all the prophecies I have seen, this one haunts my dreams. QUJIKPHIUEEEKMJQUJ The full truth of this nightmare yet remains hidden. – Aletheia When deciphered, the letters "QUJIKPHIUEEEKMJQUJ" translate to "SUN BIRD BULL LION SUN". This is probably a cryptic reference to God Of War 4. Additionally, around the area where the painting and coded message are located, there are four ground plates matching the words of the translation. Stand on each of the plates and press R1 in order, and the original painting will change. Then, interact with the painting to reveal an image of the Earth and a new message; "When the Earth stops, the journey begins." Note: There will be no prompt to press R1 when standing on the plates. Easy "Can't Stop, Won't Stop. BadBoy!" trophy In Chapter 19: The Foot Of Apollo, immediately after the chapter begins, you need to push a rock out of the way to continue to the next area. Instead of pushing the rock out of the way, attack it with the Lightning Of Zeus, using the L1 + Square special attack. Each attack will give you four hits. It will take approximately six minutes to get 1,000 hits and the "Can't Stop, Won't Stop. Bad Boy!" trophy. Since there are no enemies nearby, nothing can break your combo. Note: You must upgrade the Lightning Of Zeus attack to the second level to unlock this special attack. At the very beginning of the game, when Kratos fights a single Satyr, use the kick attack against it. Try pushing the Satyr into the corner. Keep it on its back with repeated kicks. Each kick will slowly build your combo. It will take a while to get a 1,000 hit combo. Note: This trick requires a fully upgraded magic meter and upgraded Zeus' Lightning Blades. It can be done on the Easy difficulty. Progress through Chapter 25: The Furnace until reaching the area where you are stuck between two large bowls dumping flames. Enemies will begin spawning in this area. Start with the Fires Of Ares attack, execute a combo, then switch to Zeus' Lightning Blades. Press L1 + R1 until the magic attack finishes. Then, go back to the Fires Of Ares attack, and execute L1 + Square attacks until you can switch back to Zeus' Lightning Blades again and use the magic attack. Repeat this process until you get a 1,000 hit combo. Easy "Fireproof" trophy In Chapter 21: The Forearm Of Apollo, at the very end of the chapter, you will enter the "Screw Of Archimedes". You must use the Oath Stone Of Orkos on the pressure plates to activate the elevator. While on the elevator, stay away from the fire, and block all incoming attacks until you reach the top. Once you reach the top, there will be no more fire, and you take your time killing the enemies. After they have all been defeated, you will get the "Fireproof" trophy. Easy "Hot Lunch" trophy In Chapter 9: Ice Caverns, you will encounter the first Manticore at the end of the chapter. Manticores are large, purple, flying enemies. Attack the Manticore until a red finisher icon appears. Then, press R1 to start the mini-game, and quickly press Square or Triangle. The Manticore will attack you during the mini-game. You must evade with the Left Analog-stick and keep attacking until it is dead to get the "Hot Lunch" trophy. Easy "Lubed Up" trophy In Chapter 24: The Shoulder Of Apollo, after fighting multiple waves of Juggernauts and other enemies at the end of the chapter, you will have to repair a part of the Apollo statue. You will then be inside a room with red and green orb chests. The slide section will begin once you leave this room. Complete the slide section without falling down to get the "Lubed Up" trophy. Note: You cannot restart checkpoints or go back to the main menu. If you die, you must replay the entire chapter through chapter select to get the trophy. Easy "Maybe You Should Call A Doctor?" trophy In Chapter 1: Prison Of The Damned, shortly after the chapter begins, you will enter the prison and see a cutscene where a bug infects a prisoner. You are then supposed to learn how to grapple enemies. However, do not grapple the enemy. Instead, keep killing it. The enemy will keep respawning as long as you do not perform a grapple and throw. Avoid being hit, and keep attacking for two minutes to get the "Maybe You Should Call A Doctor?" trophy. Easy "Open Minded" trophy In Chapter 5: The Village Of Kirra, the first enemy you encounter at the very beginning of the chapter is a Juggernaut. Juggernauts look similar to Elephant Warriors. Attack the Juggernaut until a red finisher icon appears. Then, press R1 to start the mini-game, and quickly press Square or Triangle. The Juggernaut will attack you during the mini-game. You must evade with the Left Analog-stick and keep attacking until it is dead to get the "Open Minded" trophy. Easy "Round And Round" trophy In Chapter 5: The Village Of Kirra, towards the end of the chapter, you will have to pull down a pillar to progress to the next area. Instead of jumping up to the next level, go right and down the ruins, then go left over the bridge to reach a secret room with a rotating machine. In the middle of this room is a platform with three cranks. Use all of them to slow down the rotating machine, then jump up to the white and red chests. There is a lever between these chests. Pull it to get the "Round And Round" trophy. Easy "Swinger" trophy In Chapter 19: The Foot Of Apollo, you will have to use a lever to activate a platform. The platform will then start to move, and Harpies will attack you. Press Circle to punch one of them with the club, and they will fall down into the ocean and die, and you will get the "Swinger" trophy. Note: The club is found at the very end of Chapter 18, after solving the chain puzzle. If you are doing this through chapter select, load Chapter 19 first to see if you already have the club in your inventory. If not, you will need to replay Chapter 18 to get it. Easy "Tools Of The Trade" trophy There are a total of five world weapons in the game. These weapons can be used in combat. Each weapon can be picked up at multiple locations throughout the game. Find and use all five weapons in combat to get the "Tools Of The Trade" trophy.   Easy "You Bastards!" trophy In Chapter 17: Martyr's Chamber, when opening the torture apparatus at the very beginning of the chapter, a dead body will fall out. Instead of taking it upstairs and placing it on the pressure plate, pull the corpse hanging by the chain into the torture apparatus. Then, jump on the cage that is attached to the corpse, and it will rip off his arms, and you will get the "You Bastards!" trophy. Easy XP and salvage This trick allows you to earn 10,000 XP and 2,000 salvage or more approximately every 5 minutes. It can be done solo or with other players. At the Multiplayer menu, create a private match. Select Rescue mode, and choose the Beach map. Select the Survivor team, then customize your Loadouts. Choose the top option, and when you are at a high enough level, select "Second Wind" as your Offensive Skill. Leave the Survival Skill set to "Advanced Looting". Exit the Loadouts screen, and select "Match Options". Change the "Time Limit" to any time desired. This method usually takes 8-10 minutes to complete. Set the "Medkits To Retrieve" option to "20". Start the match. Then, retrieve the medkits scattered randomly around the map as quickly as possible. Even though the medkits spawn randomly, there are some locations the medkits will always appear. Once you appear on the map, there will be a circle near the spawn point where medkits are dropped off. A white waypoint icon will appear off in the distance showing where the medkit is located. Simply sprint to each waypoint, and collect the medkits as they appear, then return them to the drop-off point. On the way to each of the medkits, you can stop and collect salvage. The salvage respawns pretty quickly after collecting it. Keep doing this until the match ends. You can then start a new match, and repeat the process. Note: You can quite in-between rounds and will still retain all XP and salvage you have obtained. Secret tomb locations and solutions Search the indicated locations to find all seven optional tombs. Solve the puzzle in each tomb using the indicated solution to get a reward for each tomb completed. Complete all seven optional tombs to get the "Intellectually Superior" achievement. Tomb Of The Unworthy Location: Travel to the Mountain Village once you have obtained the Climbing Axe, and return to the Tomb Of The Unworthy camp at the base of the waterfall (right before the Climbing Axe is required to progress further). Then, use the axe to enter the tomb. Solution: To solve the puzzle in the tomb, you must first light the torch. Use the pot to light it, or use your flint if you have acquired it. Then, burn the bodies on the mesh platform, and push off the extra weight nearby to allow the lift to raise up enough for Lara to climb to the top and reach the treasure chest. Reward: Mountain Village Relic Map Halls Of Ascension Tomb Location: Travel to the Overlook camp in the Mountain Village, where Lara went to find the rescue plane's smoke signal, once you have the rope arrows and Firestarter flint. Use a rope arrow to reach the north ledge to follow the upper route. Use a second rope arrow to reach the tomb entrance. Solution: To solve this puzzle, first look around the room. There is an open window on the left, and a platform hanging by ropes in the center. Start by closing the shutters on the left with the crank, then turn the crank in the center to raise the platform. The shutters on the left will slowly open. Then, quickly run onto the platform once it has been raised, and wait for the second shutter to open. Once it opens, a strong gust of wind will blow the platform right and high. On the right, a flat wooden board will appear for Lara to jump to and hang on from the ledge. Move along the ledges to reach a long hallway with the treasure chest at the end. Reward: Mountain Village GPS Cache Map Well Of Tears Location: Travel to the Helicopter Hill camp in Shantytown. You will need a rope arrow to pull open the tomb entrance and drop in. Travel through the town to reach a building painted with white murals and protected with boobytraps. Destroy the floor to drop into a cave below, which leads down a straight path to the tomb. Solution: Inside the tomb, there is a hanging platform above. Collect the yellow canisters one by one, and throw them onto the platform to lower it. Once it is on the ground, stand on the platform, and remove the canisters. Next, step off, and use the upper ledge to jump onto the raising platform, then quickly jump onto the left ledge to reach the area with the treasure chest. Reward: Shantytown Relic Map Chamber Of Judgement Location: From the Windmill camp in Shantytown, travel to the eastern caves below the gondola station in the southern part of the town, and slide down the surface to reach the ledges across the gap. Follow the right passage after climbing up the ledge, and cross the wooden beam bridge to reach a narrow entrance to the tomb. Solution: Collect the yellow canisters around the tomb, and place them on the raised section of the seesaw to weigh it down. Jump to one, and use a rope arrow on the other. Use the raised seesaw to jump to the rock wall. Move along the rock wall using the climbing axe to reach a ladder. Climb the ladder to reach the area with the treasure chest. Reward: Shantytown GPS Cache Map Stormguard Sanctum Location: Travel to the Hunting Lodge camp in the Summit Forest, and go north beyond the bridge. There is a lamppost next to the tomb entrance. Solution: Use two fire arrows to set off explosives and gas to solve this puzzle. Explode the gas with a fire arrow, cross it, then destroy the explosive crates on the ledge to clear the pathway. Then, climb up the rock wall to reach the treasure chest. Reward: Summit Forest Relic Map Temple Of The Handmaidens Location: At Shipwreck Beach, travel to the zipline north of the Survivor's camp to reach a barricade blocking the way to a bunker. Use the Rope Ascender to break the barricade, and follow the path. Use rope arrows to continue into a cave leading to the tomb. Solution: Use the crank at the entrance to raise a platform and allow the buoy to move left. Climb the ledge left to follow the buoy as it releases a turning pole. Use it to jump the gap, then use a rope arrow on the white roped beam below. Wait for the buoy to move forward, and push the beam perpendicular with Lara. Once it lines up, jump to the bar to reach a rock wall using the Climbing Axe, allowing you to reach the area with the treasure chest. Reward: Shipwreck Beach GPS Cache Map The Flooded Vault Location: At Shipwreck Beach, the tomb is located on your way to the Cliffside Bunker. You will need the Climbing Axe, Prying Axe, and some rope arrows. Climb to the top of the bunker, and go through the narrow passage to reach the tomb entrance. Solution: Press the button up the stairs, then press the button beside the door near the entrance to enter the tomb. Inside the tomb, there is electricity surging through the water and a floating platform. Light the anchor rope on fire to release the floating platform, then shoot the wooden barrier on the right with the shotgun. Shoot a rope arrow through the new opening in the barrier at the platform to pull it closer. Pull the platform to the steps, then use rope arrows to pull the beam at the far end of the room, raising the generator and stopping the electricity in the water. Pull the generator up, jump right to the platform, pull the generator again, and continue through the water. Finally, pull up the generator, then pull the platform underneath the generator to make the water safe to cross, allowing you to reach the area containing the treasure chest. Reward: Shipwreck Beach Relic Map   Treasure map locations Search the indicated locations to find all 14 treasure maps. The treasure maps will reveal the location of all relics, GPS caches, and documents on the in-game world map. You will be able to set waypoints for every collectible. Additionally, buying the "Cartography" (Tier III survival) skill will automatically unlock all treasure map locations on the world map. Note: Some of the treasure maps are a reward for completing optional tombs.  Coastal Forest 1. Jump into the water at the base of the waterfall to find a secret cave, which leads into a hidden alcove with a treasure map on a crate. Base Exterior 3. Continue through the wall to find a treasure map. Summit Forest 12. Locate and successfully complete the Stormguard Sanctum optional tomb to get a treasure map. Research Base 13. Go past this circle, and look on some nearby crates to find a treasure map. Chasm Shrine 14. Progress through this area until reaching a large room with a pendulum in the center. Climb the wooden walkways, ramps, and rungs to reach the top level. After climbing up to the wooden ledge, look to the right for a table with the final treasure map All challenge collectibles Search the indicated locations in the videos below to find all collectible locations for all 13 challenges. Infinite experience and money and all weapons and mods Load the "Rats" mission from the Crime.net map. The "Rats" mission will become available once you reach Level 13. Play through the mission until you reach the "Bus Stop" side mission. The "Bus Stop" side mission requires you to kill all of Mendoza's men on the bus. It can be completed in 37 seconds. Kill all the men on the bus, then run back to the helicopter. The mission will end, and you will be rewarded with experience and money. When it says "Payday", press A to display a screen with three cards. Pick one of the cards to get a random item. When the item is shown, press Start, then select the "Restart Game" option. This will reload the "Bus Stop" side mission, but you will still keep the experience, money, and item you earned. You can keep farming experience, money, weapons, and mods by completing the "Bus Stop" side mission as many times as desired. Once you reach Level 50, go back to the Crime.net map, and look for the "Rats" mission with three yellow stars. Select the mission with the yellow stars, then keep completing the "Bus Stop" side mission until you reach Level 100.   Easy "Doctor Fantastic" achievement The Big Oil job will become unlocked on your map after reaching Level 30. It is recommended you complete Day 2 stealthily, as it gives you enough time to look for all the clues in the lab. The clues will help you in identifying the correct engine. The correct engine and clues change each time you replay the mission. The clues are as follows: 1. There is a computer screen with a PSI value in the top right corner. It will tell you whether the engine has more than 5812 PSI or less than 5812 PSI. 5812 PSI are equal to 400 bars. There is a little white watch at each of the engines, allowing you to see how many bars the engine has. 2. There is a small clipboard on one of the tables (random location) with some black text written on it. It will tell you how many cables the correct engine has. It either says 1H (1 cable), 2H (2 cables) or 3H (3 cables). These are the cables going from the top of the big blue bottle to the engine itself. 3. There is another clipboard with a green checkmark. It will tell you whether the engine uses Nitrogen, Deterium, or Helium. View the large white board in the entry area of the lab to see which substance has which bottle color. You can then look for the small, colored bottles inside the engines (orange, blue, or green). Use all of this information to narrow down the possibilities. Once you are sure you have found the right engine, pick it up, and bring it back to the airstrip. Activate the red flair, and wait for the helicopter. If you did this stealthily, the alarm will now go off automatically. Throw the bag with the engine into the helicopter, and survive for another three minutes until you hear back about the test results. If the tests confirm that you picked the right engine, you will get the "Doctor Fantastic" achievement (before completing the mission). Easy "Fish A.I." achievement Once you start the second part of the Watchdogs mission (Day 2), the bags you previously robbed will be on the ground in front of you. Simply take one of the bags, and throw it into the water. You can throw it into the water at any point of the harbor to get the "Fish A.I." achievement. Easy "Guessing Game" achievement Before attempting to get the "Guessing Game" achievement, you should buy the following skills: Chameleon, Dominator, ECM Overdrive, and Shinobi. Other stealth skills can help, but these are the most important ones. A weapon with a silencer can also help. In the Firestarter (Day 2) mission, there is a random amount of wire boxes in the FBI building. Two of them will disable the alarm of the room you need to enter. You have to be very lucky and cut the two correct wires. There is absolutely no way to tell which ones are the right ones, and you are not allowed to use the computer. The boxes change each time you replay the mission. If you cut the wrong wire, the alarm will go off, and you should immediately restart the mission. The wire boxes spawn randomly. You should be able to get the right ones every 10-20 playthroughs. If you find the two correct wires and no alarm goes off, you can proceed. If any guards are in your way, use the Dominator skill to make them handcuff themselves. Go to the server room, and pick the lock of the door. Inside the server room is another door. Use an ECM Jammers (requires ECM Overdrive skill) to silently open the door. Grab the server, and bring it back to your vehicle without being seen. On your way out, you may want to use your second ECM Jammer to disable the cameras. Note: The mission can be played on any difficulty. Day 2 is the same for all difficulties. Easy "I Got It, I Got It!" achievement This can be done in any mission that has money bags. You do not have to buy any skills to do it. Just grab a bag, and throw it into the air. As it falls down, press RB to catch it to get the "I Got It, I Got It!" achievement. It may take a few tries. Easy "I Wasn't Even There!" achievement Before attempting to get the "I Wasn't Even There!" achievement, you should buy the following skills from the Ghost and Mastermind skill trees: Dominator, Endurance, Fast Hands, Shinobi, and Sprinter. If you try getting this achievement alone, it will take approximately 30 minutes. While playing with a team of four players, you can do it much quicker. You will spend most of your time running around and bringing loot bags from one place to another. In the Framing Frame (Day 3) mission, there are a total of five guards in the mansion. Use the Dominator skill to make them handcuff themselves. If the vault is behind the bookshelf in the bedroom downstairs, you will not be able to do this solo because it is too far away from the computer. Thus, simply pause the game, and restart the mission. It is completely random where the vault and other mission items spawn. After all guards are handcuffed, you can destroy the cameras and look for the five items. Once you have the items, go back to the roof, and set them up. You will now get several bags of coke. Bring the bags down to the vault. After all the bags are in place, you need to use the computer in the office. Using it the first time will open the vault, and using it a second time will disable the laser system. The lasers are the only tricky part in this mission. They will turn back on after a few seconds. Get into the vault as quickly as possible, and grab only one bag of gold. The lasers will beep three times before turning back on. If you do not get out of the vault in time, you will be trapped inside and have to start the mission from the beginning. Keep going back to the computer, override the laser system, grab another bag of gold, and bring it up to the roof. Do this until you have all the gold, and throw it below the zipline. If you do all this without triggering an alarm, you will get the achievement after reaching the extraction point. Easy "I'm Going All-in!" achievement After the Nightclub job begins, go to the main objective (a safe), and break it open. If you have explosive charges, you can use them to speed up the process. If not, you can use the normal drill. Once the safe is open, take the money inside, and bring it to the poker table downstairs. The poker table is in a small side room behind the kitchen. Put the money on the table to get the "I'm Going All-in!" achievement. Note: The money bag does not have to stay on the table, it just needs to touch it for a short moment. Easy "Let's do Th..." achievement Before you can get the "Let's do Th..." achievement, you need to reach around Level 40 with your character. You should then have enough skill points and money. You need to buy the Shaped Charge skill from the Technician skill tree. It requires eight skill points and costs $712,500. After buying the skill, make sure to select the trip mines in the inventory, and choose the Two-Piece Suit (armor). It will make you run faster. The recommended weapons to use are ones with good mobility, and do not add any modifications. The mods usually make the weapons heavier and slow you down a little bit. Once the Ukrainian job begins, immediately run to the rooms in the back of the jewelry store. Plant an explosive charge on one of the safes. The safe that contains the tiara (mission objective) is random. Take the tiara, and go back to the van as quickly as possible. Easy "Painting Yourself Into A Corner" achievement Before attempting to get the "Painting Yourself Into A Corner" achievement, you should buy the Dominator skill from the Mastermind skill tree. It allows you to intimidate enemies, and they will silently handcuff themselves without triggering an alarm. The Cleaner skill from the Ghost skill tree can also help. It allows you to move enemy corpses around, if necessary. Also, select the ECM Jammer as your equipment. It is not necessary, but if the cameras have unfortunate positioning, it will give you enough time to eliminate an enemy. If enemies have a red exclamation mark above their head, you are fine. They just cannot shoot at you or trigger an alarm. The locations of enemies, cameras, paintings, and rooftop entry points are completely random each time you restart the mission. You will have to adjust your strategy accordingly. If you are playing the Normal job version of Framing Frame, you can pause the game and choose "Restart Game" to try again. The chosen difficulty does not matter. There is no difference between doing this on the Overkill or Normal difficulty. Use the following strategies during the Framing Frame (Day 1) mission to get the achievement easily: 1. Leave the cameras intact, and eliminate all of the enemies first. If an enemy sees a destroyed camera, they will trigger an alarm. 2. Only use the Dominator skill or melee attack. 3. Do not kill enemies in front of cameras, as it could trigger an alarm. 4. If you kill enemies, you have to answer their pager. If you use the Dominator skill, you can safely walk away. 5. Avoid shooting your weapons (including silenced ones) while enemies are still moving around. Even if you shoot a silenced weapon and accidentally hit a wall, the enemies might hear it. Only use a silenced weapon when it is absolutely necessary and you are positive you will hit your target. 6. Stay crouched, so the cameras will not easily spot you. 7. After all enemies are handcuffed or dead, destroy the cameras. Once you have done the above, look for all paintings with a red sticker in the bottom right corner. There is a random amount of paintings -- so double check that you have all of them before leaving. There can be up to nine paintings. You can be connected locally or through the internet. Once you are off the train and in your friend's town, go outside, and drop the item(s) on the ground. Once the item(s) is on the ground, have your friend press Start, and choose "End the multiplayer session." The game will show you are leaving, and then the save screen will be displayed. There is a small circle icon in the lower right corner at save screen. It will begin rotating, starting at the top of the circle. Let the circle rotate once, then immediately press the wireless switch on the side of your 3DS. You must do this with perfect timing, as you can lose the item(s) if you do it too soon or you will not retain the item(s) if you do it too late. Once the switch has been pressed, you should get a Resetti screen. Then, you should be back in your town. If the glitch worked correctly, you should still have the item(s) in your inventory, and the item(s) should also still be on the ground in your friend's town. Repeat this process as many times as desired to duplicate any items. Note: It is recommended you first try this trick with an item you do not care to lose until you get it to work correctly. Easy bells There is a rock in each town that can be repeatedly hit with a shovel or axe to get up to 16,000 bells (once per day). Once you have the silver shovel, there is a chance of making gems come out of the rock instead of bells. Additionally, you can take three gold gems to Cyrus, and he will make you a random piece of a special gold furniture set. Easy minerals Every day there will be a special rock in your town. Hit it with a shovel or axe to break it and reveal a mineral. You can take these minerals to Cyrus (once he wakes up), and use them as a way to make your furniture different -- or you can just sell them. Easy bug and fish catching When hunting for a certain type of catch (for example, sharks or palm tree bugs), search the area where you are looking for the creature. If the desired creature is not there, press Start, and choose the "Save And Continue" option. When the game resumes, the bug and fish spawns will be reset in the game. Choosing other gender's haircut Get your hair cut in all the styles available for your gender. Then, Harriett will let you get a hairstyle normally offered for characters of the opposite gender. Secret photo filters While having your TPC photo taken in the photo booth, hold L to apply a black and white filter or R for a sepia tone filter. Extra item space When your inventory is full with items, you can store your items inside letters, preventing you from having to come back to collect whichever items you missed. This gives you 10 extra item spaces, which is especially useful for selling your bugs/fishes from the island. No bees When bees appear, press Start, and select the "Save And Continue" option. When the game resumes, the bees will be gone, but the hive will still be on the ground. To be able to safely shake trees for money and furniture without fear of getting attacked by bees, go to the train station, and open the train gate to visitors. Beehives will not spawn while the train gate is open. Town history After your tree that was planted by the mayor has grown for a month, sit on the ledge for a few seconds to view the credits showing your town history. Cliff diving Find a section of cliff that does not have a beach below it. Stand near the edge with the Wet Suit equipped, then press A. Swapping Club LOL Gyroids Enter Club LOL in the morning or afternoon before the show. Walk on stage, and press A on one of the Gyroids to swap it with one from your inventory. This may change the back beat to some of KK's songs. Faster Tropical Resort travel While Kapp'n is singing when traveling to the Tropical Resort, repeatedly tap B. He will eventually stop singing and drop you off after saying a few things. Balloons When the last digit of the current time is "4", a balloon will appear on either side of your town if you are outside, allowing you to collect up to six balloon presents an hour. Hitting balloon presents with net If a balloon presents come from the coastal side of town, go to the cliff the rest of town is on. Before the balloon reaches the cliff, hit it with your net. If the balloon present comes from the other side of the town, it will lower as the balloon reaches the cliff, allowing you to hit it with your net as well. Information from: http://www.cheatcc.com

Infinite shivs To duplicate shiv materials at any time, you must first obtain the upgraded melee weapon at the start of Bill's Town (the weapon is located on the roof of the small building near the wooden plank just before you enter the town). This weapon allows you to craft upgraded melee weapons. To duplicate shiv materials, simply equip an upgraded melee weapon, and swap it with another melee weapon that you find in the environment (2x4, axe, bat, lead pipe, or machete). Then, swap and reacquire the upgraded melee weapon to replenished shiv materials and still have the upgraded melee weapon. This glitch is very helpful if you are low on materials and need a shiv for combat or to open a locked shiv door. New Game + mode Successfully complete the game to unlock New Game + mode, which allows you to start a new playthrough and retain all your stats, collectibles, weapon upgrades, and crafting levels. Note: The difficulty used in your original playthrough will determine which difficulties are available in New Game + mode. For example, completing the game on the Hard difficulty will unlock the Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties in New Game + mode. All collectible locations Search the indicated locations to find all 141 collectibles (85 artifacts, 14 comic books, 30 firefly pendants, and 12 training manuals). Obtain all collectibles to unlock five trophies: Endure And Survive (Bronze), I Got This (Bronze), It Was All Just Lying There (Silver), Look For The Light (Silver), and Scavenger (Gold). There are collectibles in all chapters except the prologue. You can keep track of your total progress under the "Collectibles" section of the Bonus menu, or by pressing Select while playing the game. After completing the game for the first time, you can also see in chapter select how many collectibles of each type you have found per chapter. You must reach the next checkpoint after finding a collectible or the progress will be lost, and you will have to collect it again. All your collectible progress carries over to other playthroughs. You can also get missing collectibles through chapter select. Note: Some collectibles are automatically placed in your inventory and cannot be missed. Thus, they are not included in the list since they do not have a specific location. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2: Quarantine Zone Chapter 3: The Outskirts Chapter 4: Bill's Town Chapter 5: Pittsburg Chapter 6: The Suburbs Chapter 7: Tommy's Dam Chapter 8: The University Chapter 9: Lakeside Resort Chapter 10: Bus Depot Chapter 11: The Firefly Lab Chapter 12: Jackson All optional conversation locations Search the indicated locations to find all 37 optional conversations. Listen to all 37 of them to get the "I Want To Talk About It" trophy. To trigger them, you usually will need to look at a certain object for a while. Then, press Triangle to initiate the conversation. There are many other conversations in the game that do not count towards this trophy. The 37 shown conversations are the only ones necessary to get the "I Want To Talk About It" trophy. You can also listen to the conversations through chapter select, as each conversation is immediately saved after listening to it. Since you do not have to reach a checkpoint for the conversation to save, you can quit to the main menu immediately after listening to it, and select a new chapter. Additionally, there is no way to see which conversations you have already completed. Thus, make sure to do them in the correct order. In the statistics section of the bonus menu, you can only keep track of how many you have in total. Once it shows 37 conversations, you should get the trophy. All shiv door locations Search the indicated locations to find all 13 shiv doors. Unlock all 13 shiv doors to get the "Master Of Unlocking" trophy. Each door requires a shiv to be opened. You can craft a shiv at any time and place, but try to keep 1-2 in your inventory at all times. You can see how many shiv doors have already been opened by selecting the "Bonuses" option at the main menu, and choosing the "Statistics" selection. However, there is no way to tell which ones you are missing. Thus, try to unlock them in the correct order. This can also be done over multiple playthroughs, as your statistics carry over to new playthroughs. You can also get the trophy through chapter select after completing the game. All tool locations Search the indicated locations to find all five toolboxes. Finding all five tools is necessary to upgrade your weapons. It is also a requirement to get the "For Emergencies Only" trophy. Only finding the toolboxes will not earn you the trophy. You still must upgrade every weapon in the game (can be done at workbenches). The tools have fixed locations and must be picked up in the correct order during one playthrough. They do carry over to a New Game +. Additionally, getting them through chapter select will not help with the upgrades or trophy. 1. Chapter 4: Bill's Town - Graveyard: Inside the cellar (first floor) of the church, you will find the hidden armory and Bill will give you the nail bomb. Look in the corner with the metal shelf to find the toolbox. 2. Chapter 5: Pittsburg - Alone And Forsaken: After defeating the first group of enemies in the chapter, Joel and Ellie will enter a garage by helping each other through the shutter. Immediately after entering the garage, the toolbox will be on your left, next to the smoke bomb. 3. Chapter 6: The Suburbs - Sewers: After reaching the opposite side of the flooded area with the generator, follow the path. To the left will be a room with the toolbox. 4. Chapter 8: The University - Science Building: After entering the science building by moving the dumpster, you will be in a room adjacent to a lab with a workbench inside. The next laboratory leads out to where you will meet back up with Ellie. You will then reach a long hallway. At the end of the hall is a locked door on the right. Open it using a shiv to find the toolbox on the work table. 5. Chapter 10: Bus Depot - Highway Exit: When you enter the Triage area with all the tents, go to the large tent on the left side of this area. Enter the largest tent to find the toolbox on the right. Safe locations and combinations Search the indicated locations to find the safe locations and combinations: Chapter 3: The Outskirts Combination location: In the large area where Joel must sneak past the Infected Clickers, there are some stores on the left and right. Starting from the entrance, follow the left wall to enter a store. Jump on the counter to reach a shelf, and open it to find the safe combination inside. Safe location: The safe is in a different store to the right of the entrance. The safe is in the corner next to the counter -- and it is protected by a Runner. Chapter 4: Bill's Town Combination location: After dropping onto the main street, there is a truck on the right side of the street, and a pizza restaurant on the left. Go down the street to the barrier to find a note with the safe combination. Safe location: Go back up the street to the pizza restaurant, and look on the truck across the street. The safe is in the back. Chapter 5: Pittsburg Combination location: Inside the flooded hotel, move the ladder to climb up to the upper level. Then, turn right, and go up the steps to reach the elevator. Look on the ground in the corner to find a note with the safe combination. Safe location: Go back down to the flooded level below, and look behind the counter to the left near the entrance. There is a door behind the counter leading into a smaller room with the safe. Chapter 6: The Suburbs Combination location: Once Joel and the others escape the sewers, you will enter an abandoned neighborhood. The last house that can be explored is just past the fenced home. Enter the house, and go up the stairs to the third floor to find the safe combination on the computer desk. Safe location: Go down the stairs to the second floor, and search the bedrooms to find the safe. Jak And Daxter references Search the shelves in the ChooChoo Toys store to find a "Jak And Daxter" board game. When you encounter the brothers in Chapter 5: Pittsburgh, search the kid's room on the right to find Jak & Daxter figures on a dresser near the door. Uncharted references Search the shelves in the ChooChoo Toys store to find an "Uncharted" board game. Examine various newspapers to find an ad for "Uncharted 12", starring Justin Bieber. When you encounter the brothers in Chapter 5: Pittsburgh, search the kid's room on the right to find a Nathan Drake figure on the bottom bunk. Easy "That's All I Got" trophy There are a total of five jokes Ellie tells. Four of them are in Chapter 5: Pittsburgh, and one is in Chapter 6: The Suburbs. There is no progress tracker for the jokes. So make sure to get them in the correct order. You can also do this through chapter select. For example, after listening to all jokes in Chapter 5, you can proceed to the next checkpoint (where some enemies spawn), and go back to the main menu where you load the Suburbs area. Always clear the listed areas of enemies, then wait a minute until Ellie takes out her joke book. Sometimes you need to do a series of other actions to initiate a conversation with Ellie. The following is a list and location of all Ellie's jokes: 1. Chapter 5: Pittsburgh - Alone And Forsaken: Clear the area of enemies before climbing over the bus. Then, wait in front of the bus until Ellie pulls out her joke book. 2. Chapter 5: Pittsburgh - Alone And Forsaken: Kill all enemies in the bookstore, then stand around for a while and wait until Ellie pulls out her joke book. 3. Chapter 5: Pittsburgh - Alone And Forsaken: Turn around when reaching the flooded street, and look for a poster of a model behind a window. Look at it, and talk to Ellie. Then, keep waiting in this area until Ellie stops walking. 4. Chapter 5: Pittsburgh - Hotel Lobby: After entering the hotel, you will need to climb up a ladder. Get the artifact in this area, and open the safe downstairs. Then, go back up the ladder, and Ellie will start telling you more jokes. 5. Chapter 6: The Suburbs - Suburbs: When reaching the suburbs, check out the broken house on the right. Wait in the kitchen and listen to the dialogue. Go to the other side of the street, and look at the "I'm Armed" writing. Then, go to the ice cream truck. Keep going down the street, and check out the red symbol on a wall. Wait at this spot until Ellie tells her last few jokes. Trophies Successfully complete one of the following tasks to get a trophy: It can't be for nothing (Platinum): Collect all other trophies. Thus, make sure to collect all hand prints in the correct order without missing any of them to get the "Last Victim" achievement. Easy herb in Raid mode Successfully complete a Raid mode stage, then smash the BSAA emblem that appears with a fully charged melee attack to get a green herb. Easy "By The Crosshairs" achievement During Episode 4-1, you will find Rachael in the "Crew Quarters" area. She is part of the main objective and cannot be missed. To get the "By The Crosshairs" achievement, you must defeat her very quickly before she reaches the room with the purple glowing vending machine. It is very important that you have some good weapons, such as the rifle. You can find the rifle in Episode 3-2 (it is very hard to miss). Another good weapon is the MP5, which can be found in Episode 4-1, in a side room just before reaching Rachael. Throw a lot of grenades at Rachel, and when she goes down, shoot her with your best weapons. You can also lure her away from the air vents so she cannot get away as quickly. Aim for the legs when she tries to run away. There is also a checkpoint right before the battle with Rachael -- so restart from the checkpoint if she reaches the cafeteria. Easy "Die Another Day" achievement You will encounter a Scagdead on the "Promenade Deck" in Episode 3-2. You cannot miss this enemy, as it is part of the main objective. It will appear after shooting the lock off a door. Just stand in front of the Scagdead, and wait for it to attack. When you see a short cutscene indicating it is about to attack, press Left Analog-stick + A to evade the Scagdead's instant-death attack and get the "Die Another Day" achievement. There is a checkpoint immediately before fighting the Scagdead -- so you will not lose much progress if you die. Easy "Living On The Edge" achievement A great place (and also the earliest chance) to get the "Living On The Edge" achievement is in the "Lower Cabins" area in Episode 3-2. In the large dining hall is a Tricorne Ooze (clawed zombie). It will shoot projectiles at you. Simply counter one of the projectiles with a well-timed melee attack by pressing RT just a second before the projectile is about to hit you. Easy "Rockets Are For Losers" achievement To defeat Malacoda without a rocket launcher, you need to use a strong sniper rifle with full ammo to destroy Malacoda's tentacles. Always attack the dark purple tentacles on the right side. Make sure you do not use any of the rocket launchers in the wooden boxes. Only use your normal weapons, and keep shooting the tentacles until Malacoda dies to get the "Rockets Are For Losers" achievement. Easy "The Pool Is Open" achievement The first step to getting the achievement is to activate the purification apparatus in Episode 3-2. The pool and apparatus are both located in the Solarium. The Solarium can be entered from the top floor of the "Hall" area. You cannot swim in the pool unless it is clean. Thus, you must activate the apparatus. Then in Episode 4-1, you can revisit the area, and the pool will be clean. Go in the pool to get "The Pool Is Open" achievement. Easy "Triple Play" achievement In the "Bilge Block" area in Episode 5-2, after pulling the first lever to deactivate the steam, you will have to go through a flooded area with some piranhas. After coming out of the water and going up the stairs, there will be a wooden crate with a shock grenade inside. Destroy the crate, and grab the shock grenade. Wait for some of the piranhas to jump up the stairs, then throw the shock grenade at them. The blast must kill three at once to get the "Triple Play" achievement. You can also try to lure them back into the water first, as the shock grenade is more effective in water. There is a checkpoint right before the flooded piranha area -- so restart from the checkpoint if the grenade does not kill three enemies at once. Achievements Accomplish the indicated achievement to get the corresponding number of Gamerscore points: We'll Find You, Jill (10 points): (Campaign) Clear Episodes 1 - 3. Get Us Out of Here! Duplicating items and weapons Reach a checkpoint, then drop the items you want to duplicate onto the ground near where the checkpoint was triggered. Next, die nearby. After dying, you will see a respawn counter. Load the checkpoint before the counter finishes. You will reappear at the checkpoint. The items dropped at the checkpoint will be there on the ground, and those items will also be in your inventory. Pick up the duplicated items, and repeat the process as many times as desired. Equip the weapon you want to duplicate from your inventory, then hold RT, and press LT to throw the weapon. When the weapon is in mid-air, press Back to enter the inventory screen. Unequipped the weapon you threw, exit the inventory screen, and pick up the weapon you threw. Go back into your inventory to see the weapon has been duplicated. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Infinite experience and money When you first enter Halai Village in Chapter 3, you can talk to Houston on the first floor of the trader's building to activate the "Kill The Pain" side quest. Then, every time you give Houston painkillers, you will get XP and money. He will stay in Halai, even while the survivor party moves inland and towards Henderson. Use the "Duplicating items and weapons" cheat to duplicate as many painkillers as desired. Give them to Houston for easy XP and money. You can sell blades to Miya for easy money and XP. Blades can be found, or purchased for $300 to $400 each. You can resell them to Miya for $1,200+ and 1,600+ XP per blade. To purchase blades, you must find a vendor that has blades in their inventory. Once you do find a vendor with blades in their inventory, buy as many as possible. If you run out of money, you can farm money by fast traveling to Henderson Ferry Station. At Henderson Ferry Station, there will be four lockers that always contain money. The amount of money in each locker ranges from $2,000 to $5,000. Collect the money, then fast travel to any location and back to Henderson Ferry Station for the money to respawn. However, do not farm money for too long because the vendor's inventory changes regularly. To farm blades, go to Marik's Marina. When you spawn, go left, and you will see large compound. Go to the back of the compound. Use the ladder, then go across the roof and into the fenced area. Kill all the zombies, then go into the house, and there will be three blades inside. After collecting the blades, fast travel to a different location and back or go to a Dead Zone for the blades to respawn. Once you have the desired number of blades, go to Miya. She can be found in the Flooded Jungle area of the map in the Mataka Village location. When you spawn in Mataka Village, obtain the closest boat, and go northwest of Tuluga Cave to find Miya. Successfully complete her mission to be able to turn in blades for money and XP. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Note: This glitch requires that two side mission are activated. The first side mission is "Heavenly Gift". You will get this side mission after clearing out Paradise Survival Camp at the beginning of the game. You will meet Chimamanda after completing her mission. She will then ask you to bring back any canned foods that you find. The second side mission is "Kill The Pain". This mission does not require you to do anything but pick up painkillers. Once both of these missions are activated, proceed through the game until you get to a point in the main mission where you meet Dr. Kessler. He will give you some missions to complete. Once you have completed the missions, Biosphere Laboratory will become available for fast travel. This fast travel location is very important because when traveling to this place, all the items on the map will respawn, allowing you to farm any items you find. There are two locations that you can farm for canned foods and painkillers. The first location is Mataka Village. There are two canned foods and one painkiller. To the right when you spawn is the first canned food; it is on the table. The second canned food is in the house, on the end table. The painkiller is in the same house, on the back wall next to the skulls. Then, fast travel to Marik's Marina. This location has one canned food and one painkiller. They are both located in the house behind you when you spawn. Simply run to the right, and then go into the house. When you enter, the canned food will be on your right, on a box. The painkiller is behind the bar to the left. Be careful of the zombies that are at the bar; just run past them. Once you have picked up the items, go back to Biosphere Laboratory, and repeat the process as many times as desired. Once you have obtained the desired number of canned foods and painkillers, go to Halai Village, and return the cans to Chimamanda, then return the painkillers to Houston to get a lot of money and XP. Easy guaranteed orange weapons Go to Mataka Village, and wait there idle for five hours. Make sure you are using a wired controller or a wireless controller with a USB cord that plugs into the wireless controller so the controller does not automatically turn off. If the controller turns off, the time will not count. Once you have waited at least five hours, go to the fast travel map, and select Henderson Ferry Station. Once you spawn after the loading screen finishes, turn around, enter the fast travel map, and select Halai Village. Once the map loads, go to your right to find a metal case on the bottom shelf. Open the case to get a guarnateed orange legendary weapon. To get a guaranteed orange pistol, fast travel to Santa Maria Mission in Flooded Jungle. Once the map loads, there will be a set of double doors in front of you. Open the doors, and there will be a chest straight ahead, on the ground. Open the chest to get a legendary orange pistol. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Note: You cannot wait in a Dead Zone or cave -- it must be a fast travel location for this trick to work. Infinite chainsaws You can obtain the chainsaw at the beginning of the game. Go to the abandoned movie set. Once inside the movie set, go left and down the narrow hallway. Proceed through the door and into the back area where there is a table. Look to the left of the table to find a chainsaw. When your chainsaw runs out of fuel, go back to the movie set to get another chainsaw. It will respawn every time you enter the movie set. Infinite LAW rocket launcher ammo Proceed through the main story missions until you have access to Henderson Ferry Station. Then, fast travel to Henderson Ferry Station. When you spawn, go southwest until you reach the quarantine area. Go up the stairs, and you will see a wooden sniper nest in the corner. Go up the ladder and onto the platform. Take a few steps back, then run and jump over the barbed wire fence on the left to reach the quarantine zone. There will be a lot of zombies you must first kill. Once they are all dead, go straight, and turn left. There is a LAW rocket launcher and some ammo for it on the second shelf on the left. The rocket launcher is a very powerful weapon that inflicts a lot of damage. There is also shotgun, rifle, and handgun ammo on the nearby shelves. To leave the quarantine zone, you must die or restart the last checkpoint. If you restart the last checkpoint and it spawns you back in the quarantine zone, reset the game. When you start the game again, you should be out of the quarantine zone and still have the rocket launcher. Once you are out of the quarantine zone, fast travel to any location to make the rocket launcher respawn. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Note: Make a backup of your saved game file before attempting this trick, just in case you get stuck in the quarantine zone. Infinite shotgun ammo Proceed through the main story missions until you have access to Palanai Military Outpost in Henderson. Enter the military base, and go to the fast travel map. There is a shotgun and two boxes of ammo on the table next to the tent with the fast travel map on it. Grab the shotgun and ammo, then enter the fast travel map, and fast travel to any location. Once you spawn in the new location, enter the fast travel map, and go back to Palanai Military Outpost. The shotgun and ammo will have respawned. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Infinite sniper ammo Proceed through the main story missions until you have access to Pinai Ferry Station (approximately halfway through the game). Next to the station is a large billboard that says "Workshop" and has a truck on top of it. Climb the ladder behind the billboard to get into the back of the truck. There is a sniper rifle and some sniper ammo in the back of the truck. Grab the sniper rifle and ammo, then go back to the fast travel station, and fast travel to any location. Then, fast travel back to Pinai Ferry Station, and the sniper rifle will have respawned. Repeat the process as many times as desired. Finding the Deathstalker Mod Proceed through the main story missions until you have access to Henderson. Then, go to the north side just before crossing the bridge to the Military Base. There will be a ladder that takes you up to meet Damien, and the Deathstalker Mod will be behind him. The Deathstalker Mod adds toxicity to your weapon. There are a lot of weapons you can use it on. Most of the ingredients necessary to make the weapon are easy to find, except for the Stingray Tail. This item is incredibly rare to find -- so when you do find it, make sure to use the Deathstalker Mod on the best weapon you have available. Finding the Hot Rod Mod Successfully complete Miya's quests in Flooded Jungle to get the Hot Rod Mod. You can use the Hot Rod Mod to create the Hot Rod Machete. Use the best machete you can find when creating the Hot Rod Machete. It requires a few easy to find items to create. The rarest item needed for this mod is an LP4000 Battery, which you should eventually find while playing through the game. The Hot Rod Mod turns your blade red/yellow. The Hot Rod Machete does a lot of damage as well as additional fire damage, plus occasionally sets enemies on fire. Since the ingredients for the Hot Rod Machete are not that rare, you can keep creating new Hot Rod Machetes when you find better machetes. Go to the back of the hut, in the water, to find a vent leading to a secret Dead Zone. Enter the Dead Zone, and open the toolbox inside. A zombie midget named Toolbox Midget will then appear. Kill him to get a legendary golf club. The Toolbox Midget is a reference to the Borderlands series, as midgets occasionally appear when opening boxes and chests in the game. Easy "Better Than The Arm" achievement To quickly get 25 chainsaw kills at the beginning of the game, active the "Genre: Horror Slasher" quest. Then, go to the abandoned movie set, and grab the chainsaw in the back area. As long as you do not grab the camera for the director, zombies will keep respawning inside the movie set. Kill all the zombies with the chainsaw in the movie set, leave the movie set, and return to have the zombies respawn. Repeat this until you get the "Better Than The Arm" achievement. Easy "The Hurt Mine Locker" achievement A great place to get explosive mines is on the rooftop of the "Old Town Cinema" in Henderson. They will keep respawning in Chapter 13 -- so you can farm as many as desired. Once you have an explosive mine, go to the Ferry Station. Gather up a group of ten zombies, and jump on a car so they cannot attack you. Just keep shooting a gun to get their attention. Once ten zombies are in one spot, start killing them, but do not dismember them with bladed weapons; use only guns or blunt weapons so their bodies stay intact. Leave one zombie alive, and let it trigger the mine. The explosion must destroy ten bodies, but the bodies can be dead or alive. You can also plant the mine while the ten zombies are still moving, but the blast might not destroy all bodies. It is easier to kill them first. Easy "Twins" achievement Once you reach Pinai Ferry Station (approximately halfway through the game while following the main story missions), there will be two special gas zombies in this area you must kill to get the "Twins" achievement. The first one is located at the beach in the northern part of the map. Walk towards the lifeguard's shack, and he will appear and attack. The second one is located in the southern part of the map. You must climb a hidden ladder to make him appear. The ladder is behind a large billboard that says "Workshop" and has a truck on top of it. Once you have climbed the ladder and are in the back of the truck with the sniper rifle, he will come out of the workshop garage and attack. 1999 mode At the main menu, press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A to unlock 1999 mode. Alternately, successfully complete the game. In 1999 mode, the game is more difficult. You must stick with the specialization you choose, and your actions will be ruled by that choice. Ammo is scarce, and health is more important. If you die, you must have the proper resources needed (like money) to revive, or the game will be over. The mode's name is a reference to System Shock 2, one of the precursors that inspired BioShock, which was released in 1999. Note: Enabling this code will unlock the "Should Auld Acquaintance..." achievement, and will not prevent other achievements from being unlocked. Infinite money and lockpicks In the "Return To The Hall Of Heroes" chapter (approximately two hours into the game), immediately after exiting the Hall Of Heroes and going down two sets of stairs, possess the Dollar Bill vending machine on the left side, and take the Silver Eagles. Then, go down another set of stairs, and use the right Sky-Line. Jump onto the platform on the right from the Sky-Line, and grab the lockpick on a wooden plank under the stairs. Next, attach to the Sky-Line again, then go down to the next Sky-Line below. Jump onto the platform at the bottom, and go into the nearby "Ticket" building to the left of the gondola station. Inside, there is a Dollar Bill vending machine, near a "Patriot's Pride Confections" sign, and three cash registers (two behind a door you must first use a lockpick on) that contain up to 40 Silver Eagles each. Finally, return to the Hall Of Heroes, and refill your salts (if needed) with the Salt machine (can be refilled unlimited times). Go back outside, and the Dollar Bill vending machines can be repossessed and the lockpick will have respawned. The cash registers will also have money in them again. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Note: If you kill the enemies in front of the Hall Of Heroes, they will not respawn, allowing you to keep farming without having to deal with the enemies. You should not need to collect more than 30 lockpicks. Use the gear that makes you 50% faster after jumping from a Sky-Line to make farming faster. There are also a lot of vending machines around the entrance to the Hall Of Heroes, allowing you to level up your magic and weapons. Infinite gear Pieces of gear are randomly dropped in special prize boxes located throughout Columbia. Normally, it will take most of the game to obtain a good amount of gear. However, there is an area earlier in the game where gear will respawn, allowing you to get every piece of random gear early and in one place. Load the "Return To The Hall Of Heroes" chapter (approximately two hours into the game), and you will appear outside the Hall Of Heroes where Founders and Vox are fighting. Directly behind the starting point are the doors into the Hall Of Heroes. Enter and exiting the Hall Of Heroes will cause any items in the Soldier's Field area to respawn. Go to the plaza, and defeat the Vox/Founders. Use the Sky-Lines to go down to the lower gondola station, and fight through the Founders and Fireman. Inside the entrance hall you will have to fight a Motorized Patriot. Stun the Motorized Patriot, and run to the elevator. Press the button, and you will return to the Soldier's Field boardwalk. Enter the toy store next to the carousel, and interact with the shutter to lift it up. Inside the store, use Shock Jockey on the generator near the locked door. The door will open, and you can collect a random piece of gear. Then, backtrack to the Hall Of Heroes by using the elevator, and riding the Sky-Line back up to the Hall Of Heroes plaza. Go up the stairs, and enter the Hall Of Heroes. Then, go down the hall, and refill any necessary salts. Exit the Hall Of Heroes, and repeat this process as many times as desired. Easy money Go to any vending machine, wait three minutes, then select an item from the vending machine you cannot afford. Back out of the vending machine, and Elizabeth will give you money. The amount of money will depend on your progress in the game. You will get more money towards the end of the game compared to the beginning. Repeat this as many times as desired. All collectible locations Search the indicated locations to find all 142 collectibles in the game (80 Voxophones, 25 Infusion Upgrades, 37 Telescopes and Kinetoscopes). Obtain all 142 collectibles to get the "Eavesdropper", "Infused With Greatness", and "Sightseer" achievements. Note: You can use chapter select to replay chapters after completing the game so you can pick up missing collectibles. However, there is no collectible counter per chapter/area, and every time you replay a chapter, the collectibles will respawn. Thus, there is no way to tell which ones you already found -- so try to obtain all collectibles in the correct order. Chapters 2-10 Chapters 11-19 Chapters 22-31 Chapters 32-39 Vigor locations Search the indicated locations to find all eight Vigors. Once the button is pressed, you can find the Vigor on a table inside the Salty Oyster Bar. Vigor combos The following Vigor combinations can be used. Use the following eight Vigor combinations at any time, against any type of enemy, to get the "Combination Shock" achievement. Note: If you restart checkpoints, your progress will be saved. Thus, keep restarting checkpoints if you are out of salts. 1. Possession + Shock Jockey: Possessed Lightning Conduit that electrocutes enemies 2. Shoot out the lights to jump down into the bedroom below, then take the stairs down to find a smaller bedroom in the Lansdowne Residence. There is a chest inside the bedroom, with a Voxophone nearby. The key to unlock the chest is inside the Fraternal Order Of The Raven. The key is on the main alter in the Fraternal Order Chapel. Take the key back to the Lansdowne Residence to unlock the chest. Hall Of Heroes Vox Code 1: There is a building with a cannon monument in Soldier's Field. In the muzzle of that cannon is a code book. Grab the book, and take it to the Fellow Traveler restaurant. There is a secret message scribbled in blood in there. Interact with it, and then use the hat hanging on the hook to enter the secret room. Plaza Of Zeal Vox Code 2: A code book can be found at the Good Time Club. Inside the club's boiler room are a couple of boxes, and the book is on top of them. There is a clock on the right side of the wall, which acts as the access to the secret room. The Bull House Impound Chest 2: In the Bull Yard Impound is a chest. The key to it is located in the Graveyard Shift's basement. If you missed it, take the Sky-Line outside to the Graveyard Shift bar to obtain it. Secret Room Of Salty Oyster Secret Room 1: There is a secret room in the Salty Oyster restaurant (Port Prosperity), but before you can access it, you have to locate the Founder's Bookstore after the Grand Central Depot. There is a bridge patrolled by snipers past the Grand Central Depot. Underneath the bridge is a doorway to the Founder's Bookstore. You will need a lockpick to open the locked door there. Grab the Voxophone, then go back to the Salty Oyster, and use the button under the cash register to open the secret room. Bank Of The Prophet Vox Code 3: In Downtown Emporia, there is a Hudson's clothing store with a gate that bars half the tunnel. Go inside, and grab the code book from the basement. Then, carry it with you until you enter the Bank Of The Prophet. When you are in the bank vaults, there is a room with blood scribbles of "HOARDER" just before encountering a bunch of snipers. The switch for the secret room is the typewriter. Defeating Lady Comstock in 1999 mode Use the following strategy to defeat Lady Comstock in 1999 mode without purchasing anything from a Dollar Bill vending machine so you can still get the "Scavenger Hunt" achievement. Completing the final battle in 1999 mode Use the following strategy to complete the final battle in 1999 mode. 1999 mode ending Developer reference Enter the cemetery where Lady Comstock's mausoleum is located. Search the gravestones to the left of the entrance to her grave. One of the graves has the handwritten word "SNIGHT" on it, which is a reference to Mike Snight, a member of the development team. Easy "Heartbreaker" achievement Upon entering the "New Workers Introduction Center" in "The Plaza Of Zeal" area, there will be a workshop to your left that contains a sniper rifle in the middle. Pick it up, but do not use it until you are attacked by the Handyman. The Handyman will attack after leaving the Gunsmith shop for the first time. Once he starts attacking you, run to the right corner of the map where the hooks are located. Then, use the hooks to get on the roof, then jump from the roof to the logs in the back corner. Next, shoot a couple rounds from the pistol to get the Handyman over to you. When he sees you, he will attack you. Crouch and move back and to the right. You should now be in the walls, and the Handyman should stop attacking. Aim at his heart, and shoot him with the sniper rifle. If he does not move when you shoot him, it means you are in the walls. Move up a tiny bit, and try again. Keep shooting him in the heart with the sniper rifle until he dies to get the "Heartbreaker" achievement. You will encounter the first Handyman in "The Plaza Of Zeal" area, after leaving the Gunsmith shop for the first time. The heart of the Handyman is the orange glowing machine on his chest. In the same area where the Handyman spawns is a sniper rifle. Grab the sniper rifle, and wait until the Handyman stops for a moment. Sometimes he will stand still for a second to protect the heart with his hand, which is when you need to aim at the heart using the Right Analog-stick. As soon as he stops protecting the heart, immediately shoot it. You must do this six times in a row, without hitting any other body parts to get the "Heartbreaker" achievement. If you fail to get the achievement, simply restart the checkpoint to try again. Note: When attempting to do this, it is recommended you play on the Easy difficulty. Do not use any Vigors against the Handyman. All Vigors do a little bit of damage, which counts as hitting his entire body. Do not equip any piece of gear that automatically hurts attacking enemies. Easy "Lost Weekend" achievement There are just very few places in the game that offer enough alcohol to get drunk -- Shantytown is one of them. After you step out of the elevator (in the very beginning of the area), keep going straight until you reach a pub. Inside the pub is a lot of alcohol. Keep picking up alcohol until the screen gets blurry, and then shoot the people sitting at the table to get the "Lost Weekend" achievement. Note: All kill related achievements can be farmed by restarting the checkpoint. So if do not get five kills, you can try again, and your total kills will add up.
